An Overview of the Dhikala Tour Package
If you have been planning to visit Nainital in the summer holidays, then you should not forget to visit the famous Jim Corbett National Park. The Dhikala zone is nothing but one of the most famous zones of the Corbett National Park. The zone is famous for its healthy population of tigers, elephants, various other species of animals, and huge grasslands.
Now, there are various Dhikala Tour Packages available. But to experience the thrills of the dense forests of Jim Corbett, you should prefer to choose either the 1-night 2 days package or the 2 nights 3 days package. Plan 1: 1 Night 2 Days
On the very first day, you will be picked up from Ramnagar and taken to the Dhikala rest house. Before entering the zone, your permit will be checked at the Dhangari entrance gate by the forest department officials. After having your lunch and enough rest, you will be taken for the evening safari. The evening safari usually starts at 2:30 PM and lasts till 6 PM during summers.
On the next morning, you can explore the beauty of the grasslands of the Dhikala zone with the early morning jeep safari. The timing of the safari is between 6 AM to 9:30 AM. Later, you will be dropped off at the same place as Ramnagar so that you can keep up with the rest of your tour.
Plan 2: 2 Nights 3 Days
On the very first day, you will be picked up from the resort you are staying in at Ramnagar. All the necessary formalities and checking will be done at the Dhangari entrance gate. After reaching the Dhikala Rest House, you will be provided with lunch and after taking some rest you will be taken for the evening safari. The safari hours are from 2:30 PM to 6 PM.
The following day, you can completely spend exploring the vast grasslands and dense forests of the Dhikala zone. Once you enter the forest, you can spot different kinds of animals of different species. Your safari will end at 9:30 PM. Later, you can either continue exploring the forests or go on sight-seeing for exploring the other surroundings of the Jim Corbett National Park.

On the last day, after having your breakfast, you will be dropped off at Ramnagar so that you can continue the rest of your tour.
